coordinate and direct the work of sector professionals; provide planning and organization certification, licensing and postlicensing control of state and private institutions of education, implementing programs of primary, basic secondary, General secondary education, records and issuance of licenses;

oversee the organization of the educational process, implementation of training plans, quality of intra school control in educational institutions of the city, the work of extended day groups;

oversee the innovation activity of educational institutions of education;

oversee the organization of paid educational services;

prepare annual and monthly reports on the socio-economic development of the education system of the city;

collect the final analytical information on the work of the Department and educational institutions;

Compile monthly work plan of the Department of education (General secondary education).
