coordinates and directs work of a department;

forms staff databases, studies requirement of education institutions for pedagogical staff;

carries out work with principals of schools concerning with the qualification degrees of teaching personnels;

 coordinates the appointment to the post of principals’ assistances of teaching and bringing up work  and educational work, chief accountants in subordinated institutions of education;

Participates in distribution of graduates of pedagogical faculties of city’s educational establishments, controls the young specialists’ work in educational institutions and schools;

carries out preparation and carrying out certification of schools’ principals, pedagogical employees in educational establishments of the city;

conducts preparation and holding a competition on replacement of principals vacancies of schools and boarding-schools;

processes documents to rewarding of pedagogical employees of educational establishments ;

controls the keeping of office-work  in the department;

runs personal records, service records of educational  principals, prepares documents on movement of staff in the educational establishments of the city (orders reception and dismissal, a holiday, appointment to the post)

makes annual and monthly reports on creation of new jobs;

issues archival certificates of confirmation of service length in institutions of education;

carries out preparation of final analytical information dealing with the work of department and city’s educational institutions;

provides the reporting concerning with supervised affairs
