Description of the innovative educational project

4. The urgency of the problem, the main idea of the project, justification of its practical significance for the development of the education system

The urgency of the problem of mastering a foreign language in the modern conditions of world globalization is not in doubt. To be successful, a person today needs to know at least one additional language, in addition to his native one.

A foreign language, like a native language, does not exist in society in isolation and cannot live its own life. It is closely connected with all spheres of society: economy, politics, defense, art.

The low level of foreign language literacy prevents to increase the national wealth through international tourism, sports, cooperation in art. Therefore, it is necessary to change the attitude to a foreign language taking into account new economic and political realities.

5. Purpose, tasks of the project

Project objective:

to promote the development of language education of schoolchildren, General cultural competence of the student, providing his intellectual and creative personal growth.

Project objectives:

1. Promote in-depth study of the native Russian language as a means of expressing the thoughts and feelings of the speaker;

2. To stimulate the study of two or more languages at the level of basic skills of understanding oral foreign language speech, speaking, reading and writing, as well as the study of programming languages (machine languages);

3. To develop communication skills among project participants

6.Expected result

1.Increase motivation of students to study Kazakh, Russian and English languages

2. Increase of intercultural communicative competence of students in the field of foreign language.

3. Increase in the number of children-winners and prize-winners of competitions, intellectual and creative competitions in languages.

4. Introduction of innovative forms of work with highly motivated and gifted students.

5. Development of professional skills of teachers, increasing the motivation of teachers to work with gifted children.

 

I. General provisions

 

1.This Provision defines the order of organization and carrying out the school project "Trinity of languages - the key to success" (further – competition) for classes – participants of the local project "How many languages you know, so many people you stand" and the classes studying in depth the Kazakh, Russian and English languages. 2. The contest is held in order to identify, support and develop gifted children who are prone to learning English, Russian and Kazakh languages and have shown a high level of knowledge and skills. 3.The competition is organized by methodical Cabinet of the school, prepared by the teachers of Kazakh language and literature prepared by the teachers of Russian language and literature prepared by the teachers of a foreign language. 4. For organization, conducting and summarizing results of the contest the organizing Committee is formed, the methodical Commission and the jury.

 

II. Procedure for organizing and conducting the contest

 

5.The contest consists of  3 stages:

- the first stage. Lexico-grammatical test (Use of English) and reading (Reading) - February;

- second stage. Listening (Listening). Country studies quiz (Kazakhstan, Russia,great Britain, USA), which assumes knowledge of answers to questions about the countries of the studied language-March;

- third stage. Creative stage- (staging, musical number in three languages) – April

 

III. Organizational and methodological support of the contest

 

6. General management of the contest and its organizational and methodological support is provided by the organizing Committee.

7. The organizing Committee is the Executive body and is responsible for organizing and conducting the competition.

8. The composition of the organizing Committee is formed from the number of teachers of English, Kazakh languages of the school, members of the administration..

IV. Functions of the organizing Committee, teaching Committee and jury

9.The organizing Committee:

-accepts classes of applications for participation in the competition;

-develops the program of the competition;

- approves the composition, the procedure of the methodical Commission and the jury;

- determines the criteria for evaluating the performance of contest tasks; - organizes the contest;

- carries out rewarding of winners and prize-winners of competition.

10. The composition of the methodical Commissionis formed from the number of teachers of language disciplines .

-Methodical Commission develops the tasks of the competition.

11. The jury is formedfrom the number of teachers of Kazakh, English and Russian languages..

-carries out the assessment of works of participants of competition; -determines the winners based on the rating; - makes proposals on awarding and promotion of the winners.

 

V. How to participate in the contest

 

12. In a poetry participate team classes – participants project "How many languages you know-so many people you are worth" (4-9 classes), and also all wishing to team. The team consists of 5 people.

 

VI. Summing up the results of the contest and awarding the winners

13. Winners and prize-winners of competition are awarded by diplomas and valuable gifts to the school.

14.Teachers who have prepared winners and prize-winners of the contest are awarded with diplomas and letters of thanks of the school administration.
