Taekwondo (Taekwondo) is a kind of national sport of the Korean nation. Although the history of Taekwondo, which was introduced at the Olympics in 2000, is far from history. As a modern combat system, it appeared only in the twentieth century. Taekwondo foot and hand of the athlete work together, so referred to in the title the words: "Tae" - foot, "con" is the fist (hand), "before" art. The purpose of this sport is to win using methods consistent with the rules of the competition. Taekwondoist always should be confident in itself, secure, cold-blooded and should act reasonably. This kind of martial arts has come to our country with our independence. In those years, world-renowned Taekwondo fighter Mustafa Ozturk moved to Kazakhstan and founded the high school of Taekwondo.
      Primary school students of secondary school № 37 actively participate in this sport. In the city Taekwondo tournament, which took place on February 25 this year, they won prizes. Among them: Ermek Bekzat Rahmatalla Mansour 2nd place, Kairbaev Ilyas and Kozhanov Batyrkhan became owners of the third place. These students were able to defend the honor of the school.
