From December 3 to December 9, within the framework of the action of the Programming Week at the school-lyceum No. 20, an “Hour of Code” event was held.
      Hour Code is a global movement that spans several million students and students from over 180 countries. The objectives of the action were to acquaint participants with programming in a simple and fascinating way and to embed interest in the exact sciences in them.
  The lessons that took place during the Week showed that everyone can learn programming, regardless of age, gender, and mentality. At the first lesson, to attract the attention of the audience, a motivational video about programming with the participation of Kazakhstan stars, politicians and famous programmers was demonstrated. After watching the video, students performed tasks on an online simulator, which enabled the student to practice writing the code by engaging in his favorite game. Upon completion of all tasks, students were issued certificates.
     Professions in the field of information technology today attract young people with great opportunities and demand in the modern world.
